Who We Are

Our Rumson PTO Board is a group of motivated, caring and collaborative community members that focus on improving our school experience for all Rumson children. Our mission is to encourage and support parents, students, school staff & the community to work together to share and implement programs and activities that benefit our children & school.

 

The Rumson PTO works closely with the school administration to develop & execute programs & activities that enhance and enrich the educational experience at Deane Porter and Forrestdale. Our work supports the school’s curriculum and motivates school spirit!

Our kids need your ideas, time, energy & financial support!  Help make our school better by sharing your talents and skills, planning school events (large & small), building student programs, connecting with other parents, making your voice heard, and staying informed.

To engage and empower families, connect and collaborate with teachers, and work directly with administration to enhance the academic, social, and emotional experience of all children in our Rumson schools, as well as their health, wellness, and mindfulness.
